Vocational Academies at Empowering Futures

At Empowering Futures, we offer a range of vocational academies designed to give young people meaningful, practical pathways into future careers.

All learners, regardless of their chosen pathway, complete:

• Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Employability Skills (RQF)

Alongside this, learners complete accredited CPD vocational units specific to their chosen academy, allowing them to develop real, hands-on skills in their area of interest.

Our programmes are designed to:

• Combine education with practical experience 
• Develop confidence, independence, and employability skills 
• Provide an alternative pathway into careers and further training 

Learners train in realistic environments, supported by experienced staff, with opportunities to build portfolios and gain industry insight.

All programmes are educational and preparatory.

• Learners train and gain practical experience within the provision 
• Learners under 18 do not work independently or commercially 
• At 18+, learners may progress into employment or self-employment
  subject to obtaining appropriate insurance 

Some learners may choose to obtain insurance through providers such as:

• Westminster Global 
• PolicyBee 

(Insurance acceptance is dependent on individual insurers and learner circumstances.)

Our academies support progression into:

• Further education (Level 2/3 qualifications) 
• Apprenticeships 
• Employment or self-employment (18+)
