At Empowering Futures, we deliver the ASDAN Personal Progress qualification through a flexible, learner-centred approach that supports individuals working at Entry Level 1. 

The programme is designed to develop core skills in communication, independent living, community participation, and personal development, with clear links to the four Preparing for Adulthood pathways: employment, independent living, good health, and friends, relationships and community.

Learning is embedded in practical, real-life contexts and tailored to each learner’s aspirations and needs. We integrate vocational tasters in areas such as Hair and Beauty, Sport and Fitness, Construction, Hospitality, and Care, giving learners the opportunity to explore career interests while developing transferable skills like teamwork, following instructions, and using tools or equipment safely.

To further enhance the learning experience, we embed ASDAN’s Lifeskills Challenge—a flexible, online bank of challenges that supports the development of key skills across English, maths, PSHE, and vocational learning. These personalised challenges are chosen to complement learners’ qualification work and support progression, with all achievements recognised through ASDAN certification.
